LHH Recruitment Solutions’ (pka Parker+Lynch) is working with a manufacturer near Huntingburg looking for a Director of Finance. This role is open due to growth, will report to the CFO, and will eventually be over an established team. This role will eventually be over an accounting team, have aspects of FP&A, and will take on duties as the CFO sheds them. An executive presence with managerial experience, strong foundation in accounting, and a CPA are key here.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Statement Review
- GL Maintenance
- Review Month/Year End
- Executive Presentation
- Drive Relationships with Operational Departments
- Communicate Data with Department Heads and Problem Solve Issues
- Manage/Coach/Supervise Accounting Team
- Manage banking relationships
- Variance Analysis
- Ad Hoc Reporting
- Treasury Management
- Cash Management
- Process Improvement
- Ensure US & Canadian Tax Filings
- Accounting Firm Liaison
- Oversee budgeting & forecasting
- Advise financial decision making
- Establish/edit financial and accounting policies
- Ensure compliance
Qualifications:
- CPA required
- 8+ years’ experience required, ideally at a mid-large sized distribution firm
- Foundation in public accounting preferred
